Thanks to everyone at Bushfield Runners for another excellent race at Nene Park.
Again it didn't live up to its Frostbite name!
There were 166 juniors and 448 seniors taking on the courses today. In the junior race, Hunts took 1st place with C&C 2nd and PANVAC 3rd. The positions are replicated overall after 2 races. For the seniors, C&C were 1st with Yaxley and Hunts AC in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
After 2 events it's Hunts AC in the lead with Yaxley 2nd and C&C 3rd. All three clubs are tied on league points with postions determined by race points.
As those taking part in the senior race today will know that the decision was made after the race had started to shorten tre course. This was due to a higher number of other park users than expected leading to safety concerns for both runners and others enjoying the park.
Well done to everyone who took part and of course everybody who helped to make the races successful.Next one - December 6th @ Ben's Yard, Ely
