Well done to
Riverside Runners, both Seniors and Juniors are Frostbite
Friendly League Champions 2007/08. Despite a brilliant win today
by Werrington juniors and NVH seniors both Riverside teams were
able to hang on to the commanding lead they had built up.
A special
mention too for Simon Jacklin from Werrington who will be 16 in
September and ran his last race as a junior today. Since turning
9 years old he has run every junior Frostbite race. Six
Frostbites a year for 7 years without missing a single race is
quite an achievement, well done Simon.
Thanks to
all of the many race organisers, marshals and helping hands at
BRJ for putting on a great race and finale to the season. Thanks
also to George, Doreen and Kevin for the first aid and to Keith
and Laurie for starting and time keeping. Lastly many, many
thanks to all of the seniors and juniors who have run in the
Frostbite League, see you all in October 2008.
Adrian Jarvis.

OLD NEWS
3rd February
2008
A big thank
you to Bourne Town Harriers for hosting today's race and to all
who ran it. It was cold, as it should be, but no snow as
threatened during the week.
Full results
now available.
Presentation Evening ticket are available now from your club
chairman/captain, or if you have any difficulty contact me
direct. This year's event is being hosted by Riverside Runners
in St Neots. Tickets are only £10 each
23rd January 2008
Unfortunately due to errors
in the finish positions recorded we are unable to issue official
results for the Ramsey race on 13th January.

Another
great Frostbite race at Ramsey. A big thanks to Adrian Graham
and all his huge team of helpers at Ramsey
Unfortunately again this month there is a problem with the race
times. I will try to resolve it over the next couple of nights
and post the individual results when I have them. Once again I
am very sorry.
12th December 2007
There was an error in the official results given to me. I have
since received a
significant number of emails consistently pointing out that watch times were
45 seconds slower than the original published official times. As there
clearly was a problem with the official time I adjusted the
times by
45 seconds and this is now the official time. I am very
sorry for the error.
10th December 2007
Thanks and well done to Ron and all at Bushfield for staging
another Frostbite race. Full results are now available.

the Frostbite races can be found at:

11 November 2007
Today we had another very
enjoyable and well organised Frostbite race. Thanks to Ron and all at Bushfield.
Full results are now available.

It’s fast
approaching the second race of the season at Bushfield. Main car
parking at Bushfield will not be in our usual place, please
follow the marshal’s directions to car parking on the adjacent
industrial estate. Our usual parking is being redeveloped and
will then become a pay & display, so please avoid it. The
meeting place and results will be as in previous years in the
Bushfield Recreation Centre. We will be observing one minutes
silence before the start of our race.
7th October 2007
A big
thank you to all at Riverside for hosting our first race and kicking off
the new Frostbite Friendly League season. It was a great day for a run
and the race was well supported - 117 juniors and 389 seniors. Well done
to Riverside Seniors and Hunts AC juniors for winning their races. Full
results now available.

20th
September 2007
It's almost time
again for the new Frostbite season (where did the summer go to?). I hope
you are all fit and well and anticipating some good running ahead of
you.
The season starts at
St Neots on Sunday 7th October hosted by Riverside Runners. As in
previous years meeting, parking and presentation is at the Rugby club.
The race route is around Priory Park. For those of you familiar with St
Neots there is lots of additional parking in Almond Road.
In the coming year
please, please share cars and give lifts to other runners. As the
league has grown parking has and will continue to be a problem, but more
importantly, we should do whatever we can to lessen the environmental
impact of traveling to our races.
Unfortunately March
AC are unable to host a race this year so the 2nd and 3rd races will
both be at Bushfield Sports Centre. Many thanks to Ron and all his team
at Bushfield Joggers for hosting two races.
August 2007
The latest news from
the AGM is:
Of the 10 scoring senior runners 3 must now be
ladies (previously a minimum of 2 ladies scored).
All of the 15 clubs
have rejoined. No additional clubs accepted.
Spot prizes will be
a very nice draw string kit bag
